President of Beni Suef University receives Agricultural Studies Sector Committee of Supreme Council of Universities

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received the Agricultural Studies Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, whose visit to the university comes to inspect the College of Agriculture in the presence of Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid, Secretary of the Agricultural Studies Sector Committee, Dr. Al-Shawadfi Mansour, Chairman of Regulations Approval Committee at the Faculties of Agriculture, Dr. Ayman Hafez, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Menoufia University, Dr. Mohamed Salem, Professor of Bio-Agriculture at the Research Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology at Sadat City University, and Dr. Abdullah Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Beni Suef University.

Dr. Mansour welcomed the delegation of the committee at Beni Suef University, stressing that the university contains a large number of unique and diverse faculties in the Middle East, and we have the College of Agriculture, which contains a number of diverse departments and four basic programs including plant, animal and poultry production programs, and food and dairy science and technology and biotechnology. The college aims to graduate specialized agricultural engineers equipped with necessary knowledge and skills to advance agricultural production and agricultural industries and to manage agricultural projects in accordance with national quality standards and the needs of the local and international labor market.

Dr. Abdullah Sayed, Dean of the College of Agriculture, confirmed that the visit of the Agricultural Studies Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities comes to follow up the level of the college’s performance and to ensure the availability of all capabilities and their conformity with standard specifications, within the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities to assign the sector committees to visit all colleges in which studies begin within ten years.
