Participation of students of the Faculty of Navigation Science and Space Technology in Beni Suef with 11 projects at the end of "University Training Moon" projects

The Faculty of Navigation Science and Space Technology at Beni Suef University participated, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, in the final presentation of the Egyptian Universities Training Satellite projects, which were designed by the students of the fifth year of the faculty, after their training over two months, under the supervision of Dr. Osama Shalabiya, Dean of the Faculty, in the framework of the cooperation protocol between Beni Suef University and the Egyptian Space Agency.
Dr. Mansour stressed that the University of Beni Suef always seeks to conclude cooperation protocols with the competent authorities to train students and prepare distinguished scientific cadres, in order to link their academic studies with practical reality, indicating that the Faculty of Navigation Science and Space Technology is the first faculty in the Middle East and Egyptian universities, so attention should be paid to its graduates and all support should be provided to them through training by specialized engineers.
Dr. Osama Shalabiya, Dean of the College, explained that the training included a number of interactive lectures covering all aspects related to satellite technology, systems and components, as well as the components of the space environment and other various matters such as operating systems, control of satellites and various software. The training continued during 20 separate days, over a period of two months, stressing the importance of the training and scientific expertise gained by the students during this period.
It is worth noting that about 11 projects were designed and judged by faculty professors and engineers at the Egyptian Space Agency, and they praised the level of students.
