Beni Suef Media launches the Compassion and Honor initiative to support the elderly

Today, the Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni Suef University, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, launched the compassion and Honor initiative to support the elderly,
 and that is with the environmental community service sector under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, and Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Sayed, Dean of the College, and in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Zain Abdel-Rahman, the former dean, the college’s vice deans, and a group of faculty members, assistant preparation staff, workers, and students
He praised the university, which appears in a period of viewing that is in line with the role played by the Egyptian state during the president's  era towards the elderly by providing comprehensive health care and launching awareness campaigns on aging and other diseases that affect the elderly, in addition to social protection programs through decent life initiatives in its various forms.
Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Sayed explained that the initiative includes spreading the culture of dealing with the elderly at the academic level, through communication with segments of the elderly and some specialists

to provide them with various services and activities, in addition to developing the spirit of participation among members of the community to help them and treat them well

It is noteworthy that the initiative was well received by the public and great interaction with it, especially after its launch on social media. The students also launched a code for the elderly to cover all issues of the elderly in the media, and they will submit it to the Supreme Council for Media Regulation in Egypt
