Today, Monday, the central laboratory at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences at Beni Suef University under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University organized A workshop on the GC MS mass chromatography device, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Ali Farghali, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Zanati, Director of the Central Laboratory, faculty members and laboratory specialists
Dr. Mansour explained that this college is considered one of the unique colleges of its kind, stressing the university's keenness to hold specialized training courses and workshops to hone the skills of faculty members and college staff
Due to the rapid development of modern sciences and their applications, to work on modernizing the capabilities of individuals for the advancement of society inside and outside the university, as Beni Suef University adopts a strategy to support faculty members and the supporting staff, as well as researchers from the university, to compete in the training field significantly at the Arab and African levels
Dr. Ahmed Ali Farghali, Dean of the Faculty, indicated that the mass chromatographic separation device is a device used in gas chromatography, or what is known as gas chromatography. It is one of the chemical methods used in analyzing the composition of materials that have the property of volatilization, that is, they can evaporate without decomposing, as the device separates these materials from each other, then measures the proportions of the components of the separated materials and knows their composition, stressing the importance of workshops and training courses
