Beni Suef University Council approves the implementation of 8 awareness convoys in the governorate

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, approved, in its session No. 215, the implementation of 8 awareness and educational convoys in the villages of Kafr Gumaa and Kom al-Raml in the governorate, dealing with a number of issues, including early marriage and divorce, Corona virus by presenting the causes of infection, results and prevention from it, raising awareness of the importance of literacy and adult education, small projects and their importance in improving the economic situation, in addition to the problems resulting from consanguineous marriage, in the presence of university vice-presidents, deans of faculties and members of the council.
The Council also approved the implementation of an initiative entitled ''Together to raise awareness of climate changes in the governorate’s schools'' in cooperation with Beni Suef Education Administration, which includes a competition for the best research and the best environmentally friendly school, in addition to organizing a number of awareness seminars, including a seminar on women’s health and the services provided by the university to the women in Beni Suef in cooperation with the National Council for Women, and seminars on the impact of climate change in cooperation with the Governorate’s Sustainable Development Committee, Misr El Kheir Foundation.
