The Faculty of Politics and Economics, Beni Suef University, organized a symposium entitled "The Role of the Egyptian Stock Exchange in Revitalizing the National Economy" on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Egyptian Stock Exchange Simulation Model, and under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University.
 The symposium was attended by Ms. Rania Yaqoub, member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, Mr. Mohamed Hassan, Managing Director of Blom Bank, and Mr. Mohamed Kamal, representative of the Stock Exchange in the Chamber of Commerce, in the presence of Dr. Naglaa Bakr, Dean of the College, Dr. Mosaad Al-Ghaish, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Mohamed Nour Al-Basrati. Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Ghani, Head of the Economics Department, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hafez, Director of the Center for Strategic and Economic Studies.
The president of the university stated that the aim of the symposium is to spread awareness of the activities and advantages of the stock exchange and its role in revitalizing the national economy, and to raise students' levels of knowledge of the basics of investing in the stock exchange by training them on systems that simulate the trading and investment process within the stock exchange, as well as qualifying students and graduates to work in the areas of the stock exchange and raising awareness.
