Beni Suef Trade organizes an introductory symposium on literacy and adult education

The Faculty of Commerce organized under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Wahhab, Dean of the Faculty, an introductory seminar on literacy and adult education, which was adopted and implemented by the university through holding a series of seminars in the various faculties of the university to introduce students to the program and respond to their inquiries, in which he lectured. Dr. Walid Abdel Halim, Deputy Director of the Literacy and Adult Education Project at Beni Suef University. This came in the presence of a number of faculty members and students.
Dr. Mansour Hassan emphasized the university's keenness to support the state's national strategy to eradicate illiteracy, which is in line with Egypt's Vision 2030, by working to increase the rate of societal awareness of the problem of illiteracy and dropout from education and to reduce the percentage of illiterates, pointing out that university students were able to eradicate some illiteracy. More than 26,000 citizens within the governorate in the April 2022 session through literacy classes in all centers.
Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Wahhab explained that the Faculty of Commerce is making every effort to make the literacy and adult education initiative adopted by the university a success, as it has become a prerequisite for a student’s graduation, which is for two individuals to complete the illiteracy eradication for each of the four academic years, and a page was specially created under the name The project is under the direct supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Jaafar, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
