As part of his participation in the Climate Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, the President of Beni Suef University witnesses the opening of the "Green Innovation" exhibition

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed the opening of the Green Innovation Exhibition in the Green Zone in Sharm El-Sheikh, as part of his participation In the sessions of the Conference of the States Parties, the COP27 Climate Summit, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and a number of heads of public, private and private universities
Dr. Mansour Hassan met the  representatives of the Ministries of Tourism, Antiquities and Health,  in the blue region, and he also met a number of representatives of African countries  who participating in the summit, where the President of the University gave an introductory explanation to the guests about the faculties of Beni Suef University, and its distinguished educational programs. He also invited him to visit the university and learn more about it
The President of the University praised the pioneering role of the Egyptian state at all levels, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, pointing out that the Climate Summit is the largest international gathering to discuss climate problems and their impact on the global environment, which aims to offer solutions and review the efforts of countries, international organizations and civil society institutions. To confront and address this problem
The President of the University pointed out that the students of the Faculty of Science won the first place with a prize of 100 thousand pounds in the competition organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research entitled Climate Change “Creativity for Sustainability”, with the participation of more than 40 universities between governmental, private and National, and the Faculty of Earth Sciences also won a project  research  which will aim to reduce the impact of climate change on the environment, funded by the Science, Technology and Innovation Authority (STDF) at a value of 1.9 million pounds
