As a national project... Faculty of Education in Beni Suef organizes an introductory symposium on the Literacy and Adult Education Program

The Faculty of Education at Beni Suef University organized an introductory symposium for Literacy and Adult Education Program, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, university President, which is adopted and implemented by the university through the participation of a number of faculties, under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Muhammad Hammad Hindi, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of Dr. Gumaa Saeed Tohamy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and a group of faculty members, and students.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan confirmed that the university won first place at the level of Egyptian universities in addressing and eliminating illiteracy for two consecutive years, stressing the university's keenness to support the state's national strategy to eliminate illiteracy, which is in line with Egypt's vision 2030, through Work to increase the rate of societal awareness of the problem of illiteracy and dropout from education and reduce the illiteracy rate, pointing out that university students were able to eradicate the illiteracy of more than 26,000 citizens inside the governorate in the April 2022 session through literacy classes in all centers.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hammad Hindi, Dean of the College, indicated that the symposium dealt with the important role of students to contribute to this national literacy project, how to register students to participate in the national project, methods of attracting them, the difference between free contracting and revitalization contracting, and mechanisms of communication with the branches of the Literacy and Adult Education Authority.
