Cooperation protocol between Faculty of Earth Science, Beni Suef University and the General Authority for Mineral Resources

Today, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Earth Science at the university and the Egyptian General Authority for Mineral Resources in the field of training, in the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Abdel-Gaid, Dean of the Faculty, and geologist / Khaled Mohsen El-Sheshtawy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority.

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the protocol aims to build human capacities of students and employees of the authority to prepare scientific cadres in the field of geophysics, geology and environmental science by holding long-term training programs and workshops at the authority and the faculty, in addition to exchanging research studies between the graduates of the faculty and the authority, as well as benefiting from experts at the college in implementing the authority's projects, and activating the joint projects between the college and the authority, which serve the community, state institutions, and national projects.

Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Abdel-Gaid pointed out the formation of a joint high committee between the two sides based on the protocol whose mission is to supervise and follow up on all provisions of the protocol and to coordinate between the parties, noting that the protocol also aims to exchange publications, cultural and scientific periodicals related to the agreed upon scientific activities.
 It should be noted that the authority awarded Dr. Mansour Hassan a booklet containing economic minerals and the distribution of ores within the Arab Republic of Egypt, and all researches and studies related to the authority.
