President of Beni Suef University invites students to volunteer in "Decent Life" initiative.. He appreciates efforts of political leadership to improve living conditions of citizens

Today, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed the awareness symposium to introduce the projects of Decent Life Foundation to promote volunteer work efforts for university youth, at the University’s Grand Celebration Hall, in the presence of Dr. Gamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President of University for the Education and Students Sector, Dr. Moaz Al-Shahed, Coordinator of Students Activities at the University, Mr. Muhammad Gabr, general coordinator of the initiative in the governorate, Dr. Mohab Musa, a member of the foundation in the governorate, and Mr. Khaled Ahmed, director of North Upper Egypt region at Decent Life Foundation, and a number of coordinators of the initiative, with a remarkable presence of students.

During his speech, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan praised all the efforts of President / Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in improving living conditions and daily life of the Egyptian citizen, who had a great role in implementing the construction and development plan of the Egyptian state, pointing out that the initiative was praised by many countries of the world as it is multiple in its pillars and integrated in its features because it stems from a civilized responsibility as well as it has a human dimension. The initiative aims to provide an integrated package of services including health, social, and living aspects that are provided to the Egyptian citizen, especially the most needy community groups with the aim of investing in human development and enhancing the value of the Egyptian personality.

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan called on university students to participate and volunteer in this humanitarian initiative at the level of all faculties, stressing that the university participated in the initiative in order to activate its role in community service, through integrated convoys to villages in need, providing free treatment to patients, and transferring cases that need follow-up operations to university hospitals, pointing out that the university has capabilities and specializations that qualify it to participate in all areas of the initiative through university hospitals, industrial education workshops, and faculties of Mass Communication and Special Needs Science.

For their part, the officials of Decent Life Initiative in the governorate reviewed the initiative’s efforts to provide basic needs that affect lives of citizens as a top priority, to include health and education projects, drinking water and sanitation projects, electricity, natural gas, communications, and the establishment of ambulance and fire stations, in addition to raising the efficiency of roads and public lighting. Rehabilitation and lining of canals, in addition to youth and service complexes and projects to improve the environment within the governorate.
