Dr/Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today that the implementation of a language skills development program in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports has begun It is ranked first among five other centers in teaching three languages: English, French and German. This came when he chaired the meeting of the Supervisory Committee of the Center for Languages ??and Specialized Translation, in the presence of Dr. Sherif El-Gayyar, Executive Director of the Center and members of the Board of Directors
Dr/Mansour explained that four courses in English, French and German specializations have started at the Faculty of Law, where the number of students enrolled in the English language course reached 65 young men and women, the French language course was 20 young men and women, the German language course began with four, and the French language course began from the second level, within the paved courses to obtain a diploma in French language studies DELF, for 13 students of the French Department of the Faculty of Arts The teaching will take place at the center’s headquarters, noting that the Arabic language course for non-native speakers has started today for 18 students at the Faculty of Law, taught by Dr. Sayed Daifallah, a professor at the American University in Cairo
The meeting also discussed what has been accomplished during the previous period of academic work within the center, including the academic test of the English language in light of the center’s cooperation with the affairs of graduate studies and research, where the academic test No. 118 will be held on Monday, September 26, at ten in the morning at the headquarters of the College of Medicine With a total of 22 translations during the month of September, in addition to the review and editing of university theses, with regard to languages, translation and international cinematic creativity, where some films in different languages are selected to be shown once a month to university students and a professor specialized in the language of the film comments while watching, which enriches Young people's language and knowledge of other cultures
