Beni Suef University is ranked 967 globally and 7 new specialties have appeared in the University Ranking by Academic Performance

 Dr/Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university had ranked 967 out of a total of 3000 international universities to advance 97 places from last year 2020-2021, in the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) Field Ranking, August 2022 edition
 Dr/Mansour Hassan explained that the university appeared this year in 11 majors, including 7 new majors for the first time, namely engineering, molecular biology, genetics, chemical engineering, mathematics, technology and veterinary sciences, pointing out that the classification aims to develop a classification system for international universities based on  Academic performance  indicators that reflects the quality and quantity of its scholarly publications, and is based on research published in all areas, international collaboration, research quality and citations extracted from the Clarivate database in the last five years
The president of the university pointed to the progress in the four fields compared to last year, where the university ranked in the field of physical sciences ranked 763 compared to 782, and in the field of biological sciences it ranked 857 compared to 974, and in the field of chemical sciences it ranked 803 compared to 919, and in the field of pharmacy sciences it ranked 207 against 232
