Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced new expansions at university hospitals, including the development of public site, creation of a unit for critical pregnancies, the establishment of an economic ward, a gastrointestinal endoscopy ward, and the establishment of a separate building for outpatient clinics.
President of Beni Suef University stated that the final preparations for the new outpatient clinics building have been completed, according to the latest systems used in establishing clinics, and it is a completely separate building from the main hospital building, at a cost of 7 million pounds. The new building consists of three floors, and includes 30 clinics that include all specialties at the hospital and accommodates all patients with special medical services such as audiometry, speech, intelligence tests and regular radiology, provided that the old building for clinics will be used by attaching it to the emergency hospital to become two floors in addition to emergency operations and rooms Reception.
For his part, Dr. Atef Morsi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, indicated that a unit for the care of critical pregnancies has been established to serve these cases in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, due to the increase in the number of deliveries carried out by the hospital, in which there are some cases that need intensive care, pointing out that the unit includes 5 care beds equipped at the latest level, indicating that the new endoscopy unit has been completed to include 2 endoscopy rooms that accommodate 4 endoscopy devices, a recovery room and a sterilization room.
Dr. Muhammad Shaaban, Executive Director of University Hospitals, pointed out the development of the general site of hospitals and the College of Medicine, which includes infrastructure development, water supply, sanitation and civil protection works, and the supply of all buildings with high-speed fiber cables, as well as paving and interlock works, and the economic treatment unit in the hospital has also been equipped to include 14 beds equipped at the highest medical level, in addition to doctors and nursing rooms.
