Beni Suef University Council agrees to organize an event on Hemophilia at Faculty of Medicine

Beni Suef University Council, headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, approved, in its session No. (211), to organize an awareness-raising event about Hemophilia by the Department of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, with the support of the World Pediatric Federation, and that the event will be organized on August 14 Next, this was in the presence of the university's vice presidents, deans of faculties and members of the council.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, stated that the event includes defining the nature of hemophilia, its symptoms, risk factors and treatment, noting that hemophilia in children is long-lasting bloody bleeding due to injury or trauma, even if it is simple. In severe forms of the disease, bleeding can occur spontaneously (even without trauma or injury). The bleeding may be internal or external.
