President of Beni Suef University attends closing ceremony of student activities and honors distinguished students

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed this evening the closing ceremony of student activities, under the slogan of ''New Republic Youth''. The celebration activities started with a variety of artistic shows, including individual and group singing, drawing and playing, and the “Samar Al-Gawalah” show, as well as a documentary film entitled “Youth of the New Republic.
The celebration activities were attended by Dr. Taya Abdul Latif, Advisor of the Minister of Higher Education for Activities Sector, Dr. Hanan Suleiman, member of Senate, Dr. Gamal Abdul Rahman, Vice President of University for Education and Student Sector, Dr. Gamal Abdul Muttalib, Director of Human Resources Development Unit, Dr. Moaz Al-Shahed, Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and Mr. Muhammad Selim, Secretary General of University, and Khaled Amin, President of Students’ Union, in the presence of a remarkable presence of students and heads of unions.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed that the role of the university is not limited to education only, but extends its role to an important axis, which is student activities, which represent a factory for talented and creative people in various cultural, sports, artistic and scientific fields, which aim to increase skills and abilities that enable students to assume responsibility and qualify them for the labor market and facing challenges facing the Egyptian state. Youth are the basis for building the nation, its present and its future.
For his part, Dr. Taya Abdel Latif praised the advanced level of student activities that he witnessed inside the university, stressing that Beni Suef University is one of the reputable universities at the local and international levels, and is characterized by providing student activities of high technical quality.
At the final part of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan honored Dr. Taya Abdul Latif and granted him the university shield, and certificates of appreciation were distributed to the honorees of the distinguished students in the various student activities, and he thanked the Student Activities Committee and the participating students for good organization.
