Beni Suef University among top 400 universities in the world..and second on Egyptian universities in Shanghai classification

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university is among the top 400 universities in the world, according to the results of the Chinese Shanghai classification, and it also ranked second at the level of Egyptian universities in the fields of veterinary science, pharmacy, and agricultural science.
Prof. Dr. Mansour explained that the university ranked 101-150 in the field of veterinary science globally, and ranked 201-300 in the field of pharmaceutical science globally, advancing 100 ranks compared to last year, and ranked 301-400 globally in the field of agricultural science.
The university president added that the Shanghai classification depends on a number of indicators and criteria in classifying universities, including the number of researches published in international journals, the qualitative citation rate for each branch, the percentage of research published in partnership with international researchers, the number of researches published in international conferences, as well as the number of faculty members who have received international awards.
