The Ministry of Planning honors Beni Suef University for obtaining advanced positions within the activities of the "Youth for Development" initiative

Today, Tuesday, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, honored Beni Suef University, on the sidelines of the conclusion of the activities of the "Youth for Development" initiative, which was launched by the ministry in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and the Supreme Council of Universities
In the presence of Dr. Mohamed Latif, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, on behalf of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Silvan Merlin, Deputy Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Cairo, Dr. Gamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Sameh El-Maraghi, Vice President for University Affairs Community service and environmental development, and Dr. Mumtaz Hijab, the initiative coordinator at the university and the participating research teams
Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the university won second place in development projects, and fourth place in the policy paper, under the supervision of Dr. Samra Hussein and Dr. Hala Abdo Al-Senussi, among more than 70 research teams at the level of the Republic from five Egyptian universities
 Pointing out that the initiative aims to encourage young people to think of innovative solutions to the problems discussed in the Egyptian Human Development Report, and to contribute to the government's efforts to respond to the developmental requirements of society by putting forward an idea for a development project and formulating it in a way that allows it to be adopted by a business incubator or financial institution for implementation on the ground.
