President of Beni Suef University : Faculty of Mass Communication, gets first place in ''Egypt Asteroid'' initiative organized by The Egyptian Space Agency and Ministry of Youth and Sports

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the Faculty of Mass Communication won the first place at the level of Mass Communication faculties and departments in public and private universities in ''Egypt Asteroid'' initiative, organized by the Egyptian Space Agency in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The University President commended the efforts made by the Faculty of Mass Communication to support and encourage students to be an honorable destination for the college and Beni Suef University, congratulating them and he added that the university spares no effort and works to provide all capabilities that help its students to compete and win in all competitions inside and outside the university.

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan added that the idea of ??the film revolves around the children's passion to explore the world of space, and their quest to search for more knowledge in this field through the Egyptian Space Agency website, stressing that Beni Suef University is distinguished by the Faculty of Navigation and Space Science, which is one of the unique and specialized colleges at the level the Middle East in the fields of astronautics, space applications and technology, has made it easier for students to search for everything related to the idea of ??the film.

Prof. Dr. Mansour indicated that the university pays great attention to student activities with the aim of motivating them, refining their creative talents, supporting the spirit of competition among them, and choosing the best elements to participate in internal and external competitions, pointing out that student activities contribute to building an integrated personality for students, as work is done to discover talents and open creative paths for them in order to develop students' ways of thinking and employing them in daily life.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Sayed, Dean of the College of Mass Communication, said that the winning project is a film entitled Spaceak, produced by students, under the supervision of the sectors of community service and education and student affairs. The evaluation was adopted according to several criteria, including the electronic voting mechanism for projects submitted by participating universities through the social networking site Facebook ,thanks to Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, for his constant support and encouragement to the College and students, in order to achieve more achievements in all activities.
