At a cost of 8 million pounds .... President of Beni Suef University inaugurates the development of the adult dialysis unit

Dr. Mansour, President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated today the development of an adult dialysis unit at a cost of 8 million pounds, in the presence of Dr. Atef Morsi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, Dr. Hanan Suleiman, a member of the Senate, and Dr. Mohamed Shaaban, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Mr/Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Mohamed Youssef, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Beni Suef, Dr. Mohamed Yahya Ismail, director of the Health Insurance Authority branch in Beni Suef, faculty deputies and faculty members.
Mansour Hassan explained that the unit consists of 7 dialysis rooms and includes 44 dialysis machines distributed between 1 special dialysis machine for negative hemodialysis, machines for acute hemodialysis, machines for positive hemodialysis, and machines for isolation and plasma separation to serve patients,and  immune diseases . And machines for peritoneal dialysis, which is unique at the level of Beni Suef Governorate, and an ultrasound room washing machine.
Dr. Atef Morsi added that the adult dialysis unit has become, after the new expansions, accommodates 44 patients per session, pointing out that the unit is one of the medical service facilities to serve the people of the governorate and is among the qualitative treatment units inside the university hospital, noting that a hall has been equipped for kidney  transplant patients, in preparation for the establishment of a kidney transplant unit in the hospital.
 Dr. Muhammad Shaaban indicated that the unit is equipped to deal immediately with receiving any emergency cases and rapid intervention, while providing medical needs and ensuring full treatment, pointing out that the unit has distinguished medical and technical cadres and has extensive experience in the field of kidney and plasma separation.
