At a cost of 4 million pounds ... President of Beni Suef University inaugurates a unique pediatric dialysis unit at the governorate level

Today, Prof. Mansour, President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated the Pediatric Dialysis Unit at a cost of EGP 4 million, in the presence of Dr. Atef Morsi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, Dr. Hanan Soliman, Senator, Dr. Mohamed Shaaban, Executive Director of University Hospitals, and Mr/Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Mohamed Youssef, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Beni Suef, Dr. Mohamed Yahya Ismail, Director of the Health Insurance Authority branch in Beni Suef, faculty deputies and faculty members.
Mansour Hassan explained that the dialysis unit for children is the first of its kind in the governorate’s hospitals and includes 8 dialysis machines and 8 beds, and is an important addition to the university’s medical system, and aims to reduce the burden on the citizens of Beni Suef governorate and relieve them of the trouble and hardship of travel To the capital's hospitals to conduct washing sessions for their children.
Dr. Atef Morsi indicated that the unit represents a strong addition to the medical service system at Beni Suef University Hospitals, pointing out that dialysis patients are in constant need to provide integrated health and medical care, to obtain dialysis sessions, where medical supplies for dialysis machines have been provided.
Dr. Muhammad Shaaban added that the new unit can accommodate all children with kidney failure within the entire Beni Suef governorate, as the unit operates in a system of 4 shifts per day, in addition to providing continuous follow-up for all cases and appropriate treatment protocols for each patient.
