President of Beni Suef University receives the Executive Director of the American Fulbright Commission to enhance cooperation and increase research grants

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received in his office Dr. Maggie Nassif, Executive Director of the American Fulbright Commission, in order to enhance opportunities for cooperation with the authority, increase scholarships for university faculty members and achieve the university's strategy for international cooperation
This came in the presence of Dr. Iman Kandil, Executive Director of the Office of International Cooperation and External Relations at the university, Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Al-Deeb, Executive Director of the University Performance Development Center, Mr/ Aser Hani, the first official of programs at the Fulbright Commission, and Mr/Abdel Alim Refaat, representative of the Ministry of Higher Education
In view of the research importance of the authority in Egypt, where it has been operating since 1949, the university president invited the executive director of the authority and the accompanying delegation to attend the university council session No. 209 in the presence of the university’s vice presidents, deans of colleges, and members of the council, where the university president praised the fruitful cooperation with the Fulbright Authority expressing his desire to increase and enhance cooperation opportunities with the authority, which offers many scholarships to masters and doctoral students, and that the university, with its distinguished colleges and institutes, including unique and high-quality ones, and its access to advanced positions in international classifications, and new research programs and projects, all of this allows the commission to offer a greater number of scholarships in various fields.
Dr. Iman Gad Qandil, Executive Director of the Office of International Cooperation and External Relations at the university added that the visit included a presentation of the Fulbright Commission programs that available for the academic year 2022/2023, which include all scientific and literary disciplines

At the conclusion of the visit, the president of the university honored Dr. Magi Nassif and presented her with the university shield in appreciation of her efforts through the American Fulbright Commission in supporting the research process at the university.
