President of Beni Suef University attends the celebration of the Faculty of Navigational Sciences on Space Day

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed the celebration of the Faculty of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology on Space Day, which coincides with the establishment of the faculty, in the presence of Dr. Osama Shalabia, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Hanan Suleiman, Senator and former Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, and Colonel Mohamed Samir Ammar, the military advisor to the governorate. Dr. Ghada Atta, representing the National Authority for Remote Sensing, Dr. Makram Ibrahim, representing the National Research Institute, Dr. Ali Omar, representing the Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa, Dr. Ayman Mahrous, representing the Egyptian-Japanese University, Engineer Waseem Issa, representing the Egyptian Space Agency, faculty deputies and members The faculty and students.
For his part, Dr. Mansour Hassan expressed the university's pride in the College of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology, being one of the unique colleges of its kind in the Middle East and specialized in applying everything new and distinguished in the field of navigation sciences and space technology to push the university's march towards further development and advancement in the field Space, in addition to being in line with the goals of the new republic and Egypt’s 2030 vision, and for the Egyptian state, with its human resources, to have a presence in the field of space sciences.
The day’s activities also included an inspection tour by the president of the university inside the college, which included the technical and scientific exhibition, which includes many scientific projects prepared by the students of the college, in addition to inspecting the electronics lab, embedded systems, robotic models, robots, and antennas.
