The President of Beni Suef University attends a symposium on the problems of translation, the present and the future

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, attended a symposium on the problems of translation.. Present and future, the course of the Sheikh of Arab translators, Dr. Mohamed Anani, which was organized by the Center for Languages ??and Translation in cooperation with the Faculty of Al-Alsun, in the presence of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for the Community Service Sector, and Dr. Ibrahim Hamed Dean of the College of Al-Alsun and Dr. Sherif El-Gayyar, Director of the Language and Translation Center.
The symposium’s activities began with a minute’s silence for the nation’s martyrs from the army and police, and honoring the guest lecturers at the symposium, who are Dr. Mustafa Riad, professor at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, Dr. Ahmed El-Shimy, former Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, and Dr. Rawda Youssef, professor of French literature at the Faculty of Arts.
During his speech, Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed the importance of the symposium, which contributes to refining students’ knowledge and skills in the field of specialized translation and preparing them for the local, regional and international labor market, expressing his hope that the symposium will come out with recommendations for students and researchers to benefit from, stressing the need for the participation of all departments and programs taught in languages. In the upcoming symposia, within the framework of strengthening cooperation between all language programs to exchange experiences and encourage students to make more efforts to raise their scientific and practical level in the field of translation.
