The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, approved, in its 207th session, to sign a cooperation protocol between the university and the Arab Organization for Industrialization to encourage fruitful and constructive cooperation among state agencies in various fields in a way that contributes to serving the public interest of the country and raising its status, in addition to the optimal use of resources and local capabilities in a manner consistent with the state's policy of preferring the local product, and rationalizing financial resources.
The university president explained that the protocol will allow cooperation in various research fields of common interest between the two sides, such as seawater desalination, industrial and sewage treatment, new and renewable energy, artificial intelligence, internet, computing, and automated control.The students of the College of Engineering will also be trained at the Authority's Academy, its units and training centers, and there will be a cooperation in the implementation of students' graduation projects.
The university president added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization will meet and manage all the university’s needs through the implementation of all engineering projects, raising the efficiency and maintenance of buildings and facilities, scientific and laboratory devices, scientific research devices, security services, surveillance camera systems, control rooms, modern technology, computer networks, and engineering and scientific laboratories and its equipment, as well as participating in any projects undertaken by the university within the framework of implementing its development plans and strategies, as the university is one of the leading scientific edifices in the field of education and scientific research.
