President of Beni Suef University inaugurates the conference “The Role of Digital Empowerment in the Humanities and Social Sciences in Managing the Corona Crisis and Beyond” at the Faculty of Arts

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, attended the Faculty of Arts conference entitled “The Role of Digital Empowerment in the Humanities and Social Sciences in Managing the Corona Crisis and Beyond”, in the presence of Dr. Ramadan Amer, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Minister Minister Abdel Wahab, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Mahrous Mohamed Ibrahim, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, Dr. Azza Gohari, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and a number of faculty members and students.
During his speech, Dr. Mansour stressed the importance of electronic literacy for all university members, which came as one of the conference’s themes, which included six main axes, the first of which dealt with the role of digital empowerment in the humanities and social sciences in managing the Corona crisis, through specialized applications in the humanities in confronting The pandemic, e-learning platforms during the pandemic, scientific and research communication during the pandemic (journals, conferences and digital seminars), and measuring digital academic research rates during the pandemic.
