Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed the launch of the activities of the 16th conference of the Department of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, which was held in the University Conference Hall on the Nile Corniche
In the presence of Dr. Ahmed Younes, President of the Egyptian Society of Pediatrics, Dr. Atef Morsi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Mohamed Mabad, Professor of Pediatrics at the Faculty, Dr. Dalia Saber, Head of the Pediatric Department at the Faculty, Dr. Mohamed Youssef, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the governorate, Dr. Mohamed Yahya, Director of Health Insurance, and a number of A large number of pediatricians from various medical faculties of Egyptian universities, the Ministry of Health, health insurance hospitals and public hospitals
During his speech, Dr. Mansour Hassan praised President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s support for the medical sector and the various presidential initiatives that are positively reflected in improving the level of medical services and the health of the Egyptian citizen, noting that the university’s medical sector is moving at a steady pace towards progress and inclusion in accordance with the strategic plan and with the full support of the political leadership Pointing out that the topic of the conference is in line with the Presidential Initiative for the National Survey of Anemia, which aims to examine 15 million students in the primary stage of Egyptians and non-Egyptians who residing on the land of Egypt in all governorates of the Republic, expressing his hope that the conference will come out with many recommendations that serve the Presidential initiative to eliminate anemia
The president of the university stressed the continuation of cooperation and coordination between all parties of the health system from the university hospital and the specialized hospital of the Ministry of Health and Health Insurance in the governorate towards serving the Swedish community in particular and the Egyptian society in general, stressing that the university enjoys the availability of all medical specialties, as well as distinguished medical cadres, He explained that the various medical projects set up by the university will have a positive impact in advancing the health system at the level of Upper Egypt governorates, especially since Beni Suef governorate enjoys a distinguished geographical location
It is worth noting that, Dr. Mansour Hassan was honored for his tangible efforts in serving the medical sector at the university. He also honored a group of professors of pediatrics at the level of the Egyptian medical sector
