During the celebration of obtaining first place in literacy in Egyptian universities: President of Beni Suef University: Inauguration of a special literacy site on the university's website

 Dr/Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today the launch of a website dedicated to eradicating illiteracy on the university's website This is to help university students register their students in the literacy project in each center and to register students who are looking for someone to help them learn and free themselves from illiteracy This came during the celebration organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector on the occasion of the university's obtaining the first place at the level of Egyptian universities in the literacy project in the October 2021 session 
In the presence of Dr. Ashour Omari, President of the General Authority for Adult Education, Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Gamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, deans and representatives of faculties, members of the House of Representatives and Senate, and officials of the General Authority for Adult Learning
at the beginning of the celebration, a documentary film entitled “The Key to Life” was shown on the role of the university and the efforts made in the literacy project Where Dr. Mansour congratulated the students, faculty members and all participants in this project for this achievement, expressing his happiness for the university’s obtaining the first place at the level of Egyptian universities, stressing the university’s keenness to support the state’s national strategy to eradicate illiteracy, which is in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030
In cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education, within the framework of the protocol signed between the Adult Education Authority and Beni Suef University, to eradicate illiteracy and which implements the protocol through its human cadres of faculty members and students under the supervision of specialized professors participating in the project, with attention to people with special needs. Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi explained that university students were able to eradicate illiteracy for 9,318 people inside the governorate, through 2,532 classes in all centers in the governorate, by encouraging students with rewards, conducting competitions between colleges and offering online lectures while exempting distinguished students from school expenses, stressing the importance of exploiting all the university’s capabilities to benefit from their abilities in eradicating illiteracy and adult education, increasing the awareness of the community’s population about the problem of illiteracy and dropping out of education, and reducing the percentage of illiterates and dropouts
