President of Beni Suef University witnesses the first introductory day of the "Youth Initiative for Development" and directs to provide all means of support to participating students and researchers

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed the first introductory day of the "Youth for Development" initiative launched by Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, within the "Human Development Forum" in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities
In the presence of Dr. Mumtaz Hegab, the university's coordinator at the Human Development Forum, and academic researchers, supervisors and supporting teams from the university participating in the initiative, where the universities of Beni Suef, Cairo, Ain Shams, Mansoura and Port Said participate in the initiative
 Dr/Mansour Hassan explained that the initiative is based on introducing researchers to human development and linking it to public policies and development projects that the Egyptian government is working on 

This initiative, through the “Best Development Project” competition and the “Policy Paper” competition, seeks to encourage young people to think of innovative solutions to the problems which  discussed in the Egyptian Human Development Report 2021, and to contribute to the government’s efforts to respond to the developmental requirements of the Egyptian society by introducing and formulating the idea of a development project. It is allowed to be adopted by a business incubator or a financial institution in order to implement it on the ground
For his part, Dr. Mumtaz Hegab, the general coordinator of the initiative, indicated that a distinguished group of faculty members at the university was assigned as academic  supervisors to seriously and distinguished participate  , and to provide all possible support to students and researchers in accordance with the directives of the university president to find innovative solutions in both competitions to serve the Egyptian state, as well as honoring all teams Participation and supervisors from the faculty members and the associate team in the University Council
