President of Beni Suef University receives the delegation of the Egyptian Badminton Federation

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received today the delegation of the Egyptian Badminton Federation, Beni Suef branch, in order to activate means of cooperation and community participation between the university represented by the Faculty of Physical Education and the Egyptian Badminton Federation.This came in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Ragai, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Prof. Mohamed Kamal Ahmed, Vice President of the Egyptian Badminton Federation, Ms. Intisar Abdel-Baqi, Head of Beni Suef Badminton Branch, and Mr. Hisham Abbas, Executive Director of Beni Suef Badminton Branch.

The president of the university stated that the delegation of the Federation gave the Faculty of Physical Education a fully equipped stadium to expand the base for practicing badminton and work on spreading the game in Beni Suef Governorate, in addition to agreeing to sign a cooperation protocol between the two sides and agreeing to hold an introductory seminar on the rules and foundations of the game and the establishment of friendly matches for people of determination from University students.

Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed that the university fully supports all activities, especially sports, because of its great importance and many benefits on the human body, as it is reflected on his physical health and contributes to improving mental activity and raising the level of focus, which pushes students to further scientific and academic excellence.Badminton has a great importance as it strengthens the heart muscle, protects it from the risk of vascular blockage, reduces the risk of osteoporosis and improves body movement.
 In the final of the meeting, the Shield of the Union was presented to Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, in appreciation of his efforts to raise the level of sports activity for students and to introduce uncommon types of sports activities.
