President of Beni Suef University: Awareness and health education campaigns are part of the annual festival of student activities

The Board of Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, approved the proposal of the College of Nursing regarding the conduct of awareness campaigns within the university within the annual festival of student activities, in the presence of deputies, deans of faculties and members of the council.
The president of the university explained that the campaigns include health education about the Corona virus and the harms of smoking and its relationship to the Corona virus, and also include early examination to detect breast cancer, adding that the campaigns include education about Egyptian viruses A, B and C, and the advantages of donating blood and plasma.
Dr. Mansour Hassan also added that these campaigns include blood pressure and sugar measurements to detect chronic diseases.
The Council also agreed to hold a symposium on smoking, its causes, damages, environmental and health effects, and its relationship to the Corona virus, in cooperation with the College of Tourism and Hotels.
