President of Beni Suef University: 1390 students applied to run for the student union elections

Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that 1,390 students, including 836 males and 554 females, applied to run for the student union elections, which began its first rounds today by withdrawing and submitting nomination forms in all university faculties, under the supervision of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, with full commitment to applying precautionary measures.
The university president added that the first day passed quietly without any problems, and that a higher committee was formed to supervise and manage the electoral process, and that all applicants met the necessary conditions for candidacy, which are to have Egyptian nationality, have not been previously punished for disciplinary action, and have a vaccination Corona.
Mr. Muhammad Farouk, Director General of the Youth Welfare Department, indicated that there was a central follow-up around the clock to facilitate the elections process and receive students while maintaining the precautionary measures.
It is noteworthy that the announcement of the preliminary lists will take place on Sunday, November 21, and requests for appeals were received on November 22, then examined on Tuesday, November 23, and the final lists were announced on Wednesday, November 24, and the election campaign opened on Thursday, November 25, referring to the start of the first round elections in faculties, sorting and announcing the results Sunday, November 28, followed by run-off elections on Monday, November 29.
