President of Beni Suef University meets the Indian Ambassador in Cairo to discuss mechanisms of joint scientific cooperation

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, headed a delegation of university professors, to meet with the Indian ambassador in Cairo, in order to discuss and consult in principle, to conclude a memorandum of academic understanding, in various disciplines, between Beni Suef University and Indian universities.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for the Community Service Sector, Dr. Sherif El-Gayyar, Head of the Arabic Language Department at the Faculty of Arts and coordinator of the meeting, Dr. Abdel Latif Hisham, Head of the Genetics Department at the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Asma Hammouda, Head of the Environmental Sciences Department, Dr. Karim Kamal, Coordinator of Digital Transformation at the University, and Dr. Wael Hazen, Undersecretary of the Institute of Medicinal Plants.
For his part, Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed the importance of supporting and strengthening scientific and research cooperation with Indian universities in the fields of scientific research and the academic field, praising the distinguished relations between Egypt and India. The two sides discussed the possibility of exchanging experts, faculty members and students in various scientific fields, in addition to establishing Workshops and joint research projects, as well as cooperation between the university, institutes, centers and research bodies in India, in light of benefiting from the Indian experience in the field of higher education and scientific research.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Mansour Hassan presented the university shield to the Indian ambassador, expressing his deep thanks for the hospitality and warm reception.
