President of Beni Suef University: Today, the start of candidacy for the student union elections

Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today, opening the door for candidacy for student union elections by withdrawing and submitting candidacy forms in all faculties of the university, with a commitment to applying precautionary measures, under the supervision of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, provided that the preliminary lists will be announced on Sunday, November 21 ,receiving appeals requests on November 22, then examined them on Tuesday, November 23, and announced the final lists on Wednesday, November 24, and opened the door for electoral propaganda on Thursday, November 25, referring to the start of the first round elections in faculties and counting and announcing the results on Sunday, November 28, followed by the run-off elections on Monday. Corresponding to November 29.
The university president explained that the student unions are working on preparing student cadres capable of shouldering responsibility, consolidating national awareness, upholding the value of belonging and societal values, deepening the foundations of democracy, human rights and citizenship among students, practicing student activities, and supporting the student’s personality, enabling him to be able to free and mature thinking.
Dr. Mansour Hassan added that the student union elections are a training for students on the ground to express their opinion within a framework of freedom, transparency and integrity in order to uphold the values ??of democracy and express their demands and problems and work to solve them.
