Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received Dr. Shawki Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, and his accompanying delegation, at the start of his visit to the university to attend the religious symposium organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, entitled “Youth and Awareness Building”, in the presence of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Affairs and Development The environment, the deans of the colleges, a number of Al-Azhar men, the Church, the Endowments, and representatives of the Egyptian family house.
The president of the university expressed his happiness to meet with His Eminence Dr. Shawky Allam, one of the most important prominent Egyptian religious figures, who adopts an enlightened intellectual approach that works to renounce violence and hatred, respect all religions, and return once again to the moderation of the Islamic religion and commitment to the teachings of our true religion.
 Dr. Mansour Hassan praised the pioneering role played by the Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa, which is one of the oldest religious institutions. It was established in 1895 AD / 1313 AH. Islamic; Where it plays its historical and civilized role by connecting contemporary Muslims with the origins of their religion, clarifying the features of Islam and removing the ambiguous conditions of their religion and their worldly affairs, revealing the provisions of Islam in all that is new to contemporary life.
Shawki Allam expressed his thanks and appreciation to the president of the university for the warm reception and the emphasis on the fruitful cooperation between the two sides through the protocol signed between the College of Navigation Sciences and Dar Al-Ifta, and the university president’s decision to allocate a headquarters for the university’s Dar Al-Iftaa.
