Today, Monday, Beni Suef University began preventing the entry of faculty members, workers and students to the university campuses in East and West Nile who do not have the Corona vaccine, in implementation of the decision of the Council of Ministers, or to submit a certificate of negative swab as a result of the PCR analysis before entering and repeat weekly.
Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, assigned Professor Mohamed Salim, Secretary General of the University, and Major General Mahmoud Sarhan, Director of University Security, to follow up and implement the Cabinet’s decision at the main gates of entry, so that only those who have the Corona vaccine will be allowed to enter the university campus, and put a number of signs and instructions on the gates .
Mansour said that the university had developed a prior plan before the beginning of the current academic year to commit to applying all precautionary measures in order to ensure the safety of everyone from the Corona virus, including stresses on the main gates of the necessity of wearing masks and observing social distancing in the lecture halls, in addition to sterilization and disinfection of all stands and laboratories around the clock. For the safety of the students.
The President of Beni Suef University instructed the deans of the faculties to follow up on activating the decision of the Council of Ministers within each college throughout the day, noting that the university has vaccinated more than 90% of the university's employees through 12 vaccination centers inside the university to facilitate them.
