  Today, Monday, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, attended the celebration of the family house in the Al-Azhar Conference Hall, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary in the presence of the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of coptic, and a number of ministers, leaders of Al-Azhar and the Church and senior statesmen
  The president of the university explained that the Egyptian family house aims to preserve the one national fabric for the beloved sons of Egypt, as well as to preserve the Egyptian personality, preserve its identity, and restore the supreme Islamic and Christianity values Focusing on the common denominators, working to activate them, defining diversity and mutual respect for the right to difference, reviving the values of citizenship and authentic traditions, and strengthening Egyptian cultural peculiarities. ‎
Dr. Mansour added that the family home is based on the implementation of the highest values and common denominators among the various religions, cultures and human civilizations, and the crystallization of a new discourse from which a moral and intellectual education method emerges, in a manner that suits the needs of young people and new generations and encourages engaging in a culture of peace, rejecting hatred and violence,  knowing and accepting the other, laying the foundations for cooperation and coexistence among the citizens of the same country, as well as monitoring and proposing preventive means to maintain community peace
It is worth mentioning that the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, is the author of the idea of establishing the Egyptian family home. The idea was welcomed by His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, Pope of Alexandria
