President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, issued a decision appointing Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University for a second term. 6-2025.
A state of happiness prevailed among the university's faculty members and employees for the renewal decision, as the university family extends its sincere thanks to the political leadership for renewing confidence in Dr. Mansour.
It is noteworthy that the university witnessed great achievements during his tenure as the presidency of the first university, as it proceeded at unprecedented pace in various sectors, and the achievements were not limited to the establishment of colleges or special programs or the private university or international classifications, but it was also concerned with building the human being and achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the state’s plan for sustainable development .
It is noteworthy that Dr. Mansour held several leadership positions, and chaired a number of committees affiliated with the Supreme Council of Universities, among the most prominent positions are Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the university, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Human Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 1988 and was appointed as a resident doctor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Kasr Al-Aini, then an assistant teacher in the same department, then a teacher at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University Beni Suef branch in 1998, and then rose to university positions until he reached the rank of professor in the same Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Beni Suef University in 2008, as a Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development in 2010, and as a Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs in 2014.
