The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Prof. Mansour Hassan, the university president, in its 201st session, in the presence of the university’s vice presidents, deans of faculties and members of the council, agreed to hold a protocol of cooperation between the University’s Institute of Laser Research and Applications and the Applied Laser Research Unit at Dijla College of Iraq.
Dr. Mansour stated that this protocol aims to provide students with the necessary information in the scientific, educational and research fields in a way that achieves continuous communication between the university and the community, and in a manner that contributes to achieving the goals of economic and social development.
 The university president indicated that the protocol seeks to consolidate and facilitate cooperation processes and establish joint programs between the two parties. These programs include: academic and professional training, preparation of joint programs and projects in the field of laser science and its applications, as well as investment services and projects in the field of laser uses and its medical applications, in addition to scientific research and transfer.
