Good news for the Swefi community... The President of Beni Suef University announces the opening of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering

Dr/Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today the approval of the Engineering Sector Committee to open the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, and the approval of the Regulation Framework 2020 for the Department of Civil Engineering and the Architectural Engineering Department, within the framework of the university’s keenness to provide all disciplines that meet the needs of the labor market within Beni Suef Governorate.
Mansour stressed the provision of all material and human capabilities to the new department, and the completion of all necessary preparations, especially laboratories, noting that the department aims to graduate engineers with high capabilities in the fields of electrical engineering, and qualify them to work in industrial institutions, especially since Beni Suef governorate is one of the promising governorates in the field of industry, it has many distinguished industrial zones and global factories with investments that are in line with the state’s plan towards sustainable development and the realization of Egypt’s 2030 vision
The President of the University added that the College of Engineering is considered one of the educational and research colleges with a positive and bright face in the higher education sector, and it is a scientific edifice that works on qualifying qualified specialists to keep pace with global technical development and progress
Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan, Dean of the College of Engineering, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Mansour Hassan for the continuous support of the College and his keenness to complete all departments, announcing the start of coordinating the admission of departments as soon as the ministerial decision was issued
