Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the results of the British Times Higher Education ranking for 2022, which is based on five main indicators with a number of detailed sub-criteria in the fields of education.
The president of the university explained that the classification depends on the field of the educational environment by 30%, research in terms of the volume of published research, income from scientific research and reputation by 30%, citations (the impact of research by 30%), international relations (faculty members, students and research by 7.5%). And industry income (transfer of knowledge from innovations and patents by 2.5%.
Dr. Mansour indicated that the university continued its success and distinction with its global ranking of 301-400 in physical sciences for the sixth year in a row, as well as a rank of 401-500 in life sciences and 601 in medical and health sciences, pointing out that the continued success is due to the high rate of scientific research and publication outputs.
