President of Beni Suef University: Institute of Elderly Science Studies gets grants from the American University

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today that five university faculty members have won grants from the American University, University of Munich and the Max Planck Institute under the title
"Ageing in the Eastern Mediterranean Countries (EMage) Initiative"
Prof. Dr. Mansour explained that the three winners are from the  Institute of Elderly Science Studies and two from the Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University in partnership with Menoufia University, Suez Canal University and Mansoura University with participants from universities from Jordan and Lebanon. The grants aim to train a group of researchers to participate in the work of the largest questionnaire or research in Egypt and the Middle East on the health of the elderly, under the supervision of the German Academic Exchange Services (DAAD), Munich University for Economics of elderly and the Max Planck Institute.

Prof. Dr. Mansour stressed that the university spares no effort to make the Institute of Studies of Elderly Science a distinguished national, regional and international center in the field of research and services for the elderly, and responds to the continuous changes in educational knowledge and methods of care for them, as well as developing a national strategy for integrated scientific research in the disciplines of the elderly, in addition to prepare cadres in this field.
