Beni Suef University Council approves organization of medical convoy within ''Decent Life'' initiative

Beni Suef University Council , headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, in its 200th session, approved the proposal of the College of Nursing to participate in a comprehensive medical convoy with the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs sector and with the participation of various university faculties to one of the governorate’s villages within the presidential initiative Decent Life. The council also agreed to conduct blood donation campaigns with the participation of the blood bank at the university hospital.
The university president stressed that the participation of the various university faculties in the presidential initiative, Decent Life, stems from the principle of promoting social, economic and cultural development in the poorest villages, and from the university’s societal role in organizing medical and veterinary convoys and carrying out free operations inside the specialized center and university hospital.
Prof. Dr. Mansour explained that the participation of the Specialized Center in rehabilitation of children with Special Needs, which is the first atypical interdisciplinary center in the Middle East, deals with 6 diverse disabilities through cooperation between the faculties of Medicine, Physical Therapy, Nursing, Physical Education and other university faculties.
