Beni Suef University is fifth locally and twenty-eighth in the Arab world in the British Times classification

 Prof Dr/ Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university ranked fifth at the level of Egyptian public universities, and twenty-eighth at the level of universities in the Arab region according to the results of the British "Times Higher Education classification" for the year 2021-2020 for Arab universities
While Mansoura University ranked first, Kafr El-Sheikh University and Suez Canal University ranked second, Alexandria University ranked third, and Al-Azhar University ranked fourth
Dr/Mansour Hassan, the president of the university, explained that the analysis of this year’s data confirms that the efforts made to improve the quality  of scientific research published internationally have led to remarkable results in international publication rates, and this classification came as a result of the efforts of researchers at the university, stressing the university’s keenness to pay attention to scientific research and encourage the researches and  Graduate studies sector  and  work to make Beni Suef University a research university
for his part, the Classification Office praised the efforts of researchers under the university's sponsorship and encouraging them to  scientific research, pushing them to publish and overcoming any obstacles they face in publishing
It is worth mentioning that Beni Suef University is distinguished by the presence of new faculties and institutes specialized in interdisciplinary and modern sciences, which led to an increase in the number of faculty members inside the university compared to last year, as well as an increase in the number of females  in the number of students  who admitted to the university
