President of Beni Suef University directs to start the automation of the graduate studies sector

 Dr/Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, directed, today, Tuesday, the start of the automation of the graduate studies sector, the extraction of magnetic cards for enrolled students, and the identification of the required data
This came during his presidency of the meeting of the Higher Committee for Software in the presence of Dr. Fatima Hassan, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Jamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Mumtaz Al-Hijab, General Coordinator of Digital Transformation and Mr/ Mohamed Salim, Secretary General of the University
Dr. Mansour indicated that the main purpose of implementing the digital transformation plan is to contribute to making the university a digital university by providing the best integrated technical solutions in the academic, research and administrative fields, and applying international and local standards, and that it launched the first use and trial operation of the digital identity system for university students using cards Smart "Proximity"
for students to enter the university campus with a highly secured electronic system, within the framework of the university’s direction to automate all procedures for students, faculty members and employees
Dr. Mumtaz Hegab, General Coordinator of Digital Transformation, said that the digital identity system for students aims to organize and complete work in an innovative and flexible way, in addition to securing students' "cards" and protecting them from fraud, and facilitating the task of identifying the student at the university gates, student affairs offices and graduate studies in colleges and institutes
