Beni Suef University begins implementing the new electronic exam system at the Faculty of Medicine

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today the start of the exams of the Faculty of Medicine in accordance with the new electronic exam system, within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the Ministries of Higher Education and Communications in accordance with the directives of the political leadership to implement the medical sector as a first stage. Beni Suef University is one of the first Egyptian public universities to apply electronic exams through the system launched by the Supreme Council of Universities.

Prof. Dr. Mansour stated that the number of students who have taken electronic exams today reaches 292 students in the third grade, with the availability of computers to download the exams, followed up by faculty members and information technology specialists at the university to provide technical support to students in the event of any problem and to ensure that they pass exams quietly without any obstacles.

The University President stressed the need to adhere to the necessary precautionary measures and providing means of disinfection and sterilization, to ensure the proper conduct of exams, the safety of students, faculty members and employees, and keeping social distancing, with an emphasis on wearing masks in order to preserve the health of all.

Prof. Dr. Atef Morsi, Dean of the College of Medicine and Chairman of the Hospital Board of Directors, said that the center aims to cover the exams of the College of Medicine with a capacity of 450 computers, and that the college is moving at a fast pace in order to rely on the electronic form in light of the trend to digital transformation, praising the center’s equipment on the highest level, infrastructure, devices and modern technologies for digital transformation.
