President of Beni Suef University: A research project on the treatment of oral and maxillofacial cancer won the funding of 1.8 million pounds

Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today the winning of a research project on the treatment of oral and maxillofacial cancer at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, funded by the Science, Technology and Innovation Authority of the Ministry of Higher Education, with a value of 1.8 million pounds.
The president of the university explained that the project aims to treat maxillofacial cancer through the use of 3D printing technology, the development of which enabled engineering applications to benefit from it in building improved components and face supports that are impossible to manufacture by traditional methods, which leads to saving time, effort and cost, pointing out that the project It is the first of its kind at the regional level to introduce and apply this technology.
Dr. Magdi Muhammad Ali, Dean of the College, indicated that the winning research team for the project consists of Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Radwan, the faculty's teacher and principal researcher for the project, Dr. Mazen Attia as a member, and Dr. Ahmed Nabil Fahmy as a member.
