Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed the activities of the celebration of leadership empowerment for women, which was organized by the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit at the university in coordination with the National Council for Women, in the presence of Dr. Hanan Suleiman Senator, Professor Nermin Mahmoud, Rapporteur of the National Council for Women branch, and Dr. Hajar Abdel Rahman, Director of the Anti-Violence Unit, in the presence of women leaders at the university and civil society, in light of following precautionary measures and distancing.
During his speech, Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed that the university’s women leaders have proven their worth and competence in various disciplines, stressing that Egyptian women are now living their most beautiful eras under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, believing in the importance of the role of women in society, pointing out that women during the four Previous years, she was able to assume and participate strongly in all leadership positions within the university, where 7 women were able to work as dean of the college, and 28 women held the position of vice-dean, 22 directors of a unit of a special nature, 10 women directors of a special program, and 13 women held the position of director of a faculty. Women also rose to the top of the administrative pyramid and took the position of university secretary
The President of the University praised the important and significant role played by the National Council for Women and the diversity of activities it carries out, expressing the university’s full readiness for permanent and continuous cooperation in all activities with the Council, within the framework of the National Strategy for Women Empowerment and Egypt’s Vision 2030, in line with the goals of sustainable development, By signing a cooperation protocol and allocating a permanent headquarters for the council branch that includes permanent exhibitions and training halls at the university complex in East Nile
