Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the participation of a delegation from the university headed by Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director General of Youth Welfare, and 7 male and female students, in the opening session of the dangerous E-Waste Forumand the role of university youth in getting rid of it under the slogan (Be modern and environmentally friendly), which is held in Sharm El-Sheikh, and is held under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, and the participation of delegations from some Arab countries League under the supervision of the League of Arab States
For his part, Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed that the forum aims to train Egyptian and Arab university youth for the safe disposal of waste, which requires spreading awareness among young people by uniting efforts, and identifying Arab experiences in the field of waste disposal, praising the state’s efforts in the field of electronic waste recycling, which is what Requires efforts to raise awareness of this problem
Dr. Mansour added that the university concerned with the environmental sector due to its strong effects on all aspects of life, stressing the importance of raising citizens' environmental awareness of various environmental issues, through coordination and cooperation with all concerned authorities
