President of Beni Suef University inaugurates a number of units and laboratories at the Faculty of Dentistry, at a cost of 7 million EGP

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated today, a number of units and laboratories, in addition to the new clinic at the Faculty of dentistry, at a cost of 7 million pounds, This is within the framework of the university’s plan to develop the medical sector, raise the efficiency of the colleges ’infrastructure, and to serve the  scientific research and the local community
  The university president explained that the series of openings included the opening of the 3D CT unit, and the CADCAM unit, which performs dental installations in the modern digital field of dentistry for the manufacture of fixed and movable 3D fixtures that are used to serve students of excellence and postgraduate studies, and the unit is the first of its kind on Beni Suef Governorate level
In addition to the opening of the distinguished medical clinic, which includes ten dental units and a high-precision surgical microscope for treating tooth roots and microscopic surgeries, and it works on two dental units at the same time, and a laser unit has also been opened, which includes the latest laser device used for gum surgery and treatment of various types of gum sores
Dr. Mansour added that the openings also included the opening of the research laboratory and it contains a digital imaging unit and a high-level electronic scanner that is used in tissue examination and early detection of tumors, stressing the university's constant keenness to improve the medical services  which provided at all levels, as well as keeping pace with technological development
He also inspected the final finishes of the electronic exam hall in preparation for its opening, which has a capacity of 150 computer units and is equipped with the latest devices at a cost of 3 million and 700 thousand pounds
The President of the University also met with a number of students of the third year during the practical lectures and asked them to make more efforts in their studies stressing that the university spared no effort in supporting the outstanding and distinguished students.
After the inauguration, the Dean of the College, faculty members and staff of the college presented the college’s shield to Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, in appreciation of his efforts in supporting the educational process in the college
